1. Donate, have a garage sale or put you unused items in storage. Store what you don’t use. You can live less cluttered and be more organized, by getting the items that you don’t use, out of the way. Pictures, toys, clothes. why have it around if you aren’t using it? De-clutter, the house will look cleaner! Have everyone in your house for twenty minutes put all of the items that they don’t use in a pile in the kitchen. When everyone is done collecting the items they no longer use, take them to a storage unit. You will be surprised about the amount of items that people will give you that they don’t use.
2. I am big on hooks, hooks and more hooks. hang up brooms, dust pans, shovels, and any clothing item that you wear everyday on a hook. The items are easier to find, use and the clothes are easier to grab on your way out.
3. any loose items, like game pieces, puzzles, screws, nails etc, put in their own plastic containers or jars and keep them in all one location. they are easier to find and cleaner. Your vacuum cleaner might have a bunch of parts to it and they keep falling off when you vacuum. You could put them in a container or bag so when you vacuum they are all in one place
4. Bags of chips or bags of cereal, you can put in jars or tape the bags shut. The chips and cereal stay fresher and they aren’t spilling out into your kitchen closet when people go to eat them.
